Smoothie Time!

Hey guys!

I’ve decided to have a travel AND LIFESTYLE blog. I just love sharing a lot of things, and I follow a lot of lifestyle blogs and they inspired me to start writing about other things aswell. 🙂

I’m really passionate about eathing healthy and working out, but to be honest I only do that during summer and when I get back to my winter routine I, unfortunetly, complitely stop. That’s really bad, so I’ve decided I will try eating healthier. Working out I will leave for summer hahah, hey one step at a time!! 🙂 I’m gonna share with you my favourite healthy, easy-to-make drink: SMOOTHIE! I will tell you my favourite ingridiens and make you start your day with it. I love starting my day with a smoothie and you will love it to. Let’s see what you will need!

MAKING SMOOTHIE

If I’m making a smoothie with spinach or berries I have them in my freezer. I freeze a little bit of spinach and it looks like a cube and I buy mixed berries in the store and keep them in the freezer. Because of that I don’t need to add extra ice cubes because it’s cold enough.

All you need is one piece of each fruit (one kiwi, one banana, one apple and one pear) and handful of berries or one frozen cube of spinach. If I’m putting spinach in my smootie I don’t add berries too, but you can if you want to!

Slice the fruit to little pieces and blend them together in the blender with 1 cup (or more, depends how thick or thin you want it to be, I personally like it a bit more thinly) of coconut milk. If you don’t have a blender and you are short with money so you don’t wanna buy it at the moment, don’t worry, you can do it with the knife and fork. Just slice the fruit and squish it with the fork. AND THAT’S IT!

It takes literally 5 minutes to make it and it’s a great way to start your day because it gives you energy! Use coconut or almond milk rather than just water because it’s more healthier. I don’t like the taste of coconut milk by itself but with all of the fruit or vegetables you can’t even taste it, trust me!

That’s obviously not enough for breakfast, (at least for me haha) so I usually eat a slice of bread or two with cream cheese or cereals. If I didn’t make a smoothie for breakfast I make it during the day, when I have time, and eat it with almonds, hazelnuts and walnuts which make a great snack!

Make sure you try this and tell me how did you like it!
What do YOU like to put in your smoothie and what are some of the healthy habits you’re trying to have? Tell me in the comments below!

  1. I like smoothies, they are yummy and give you a boost of energy. I have to say that my favorite one has to have pineapple and coconut in it, and a bit of spinach for the energy bit. I like how the spinach does not taste at all and it doesn’t change the yummy taste of the smoothie 🙂

  2. This sounds really good! I hadn’t thought to put coconut milk in my smoothie, but that’s a good idea. I like coconut milk better when it’s mixed in with other flavors. Freezing the spinach is a great idea too! It’s one of my favorite vegetables but i don’t always want to have to cook it or eat in a salad. Thanks for the helpful tips! What kind of blender do you use?

    1. Thank you. Cocont or almond milk are the best to put in a smoothie, you should try it! I use Tristar blender, it’s really good but it’s big so I think I will change to something smaller 🙂
